Worldox DMS Error - Unsupported format for the current operation
Scenario
- Launch Worldox DMS.
- Go to Compare Documents.
- Select two documents to compare.
- Click Save as Comparison Document.
- Note that the Worldox window comes up with the SaveAs filetype set as "default(*)".
- Click OK.
- Notice error message is thrown: Worldox DMS error. You have selected unsupported format for current operation.
Workaround
- Close all Worldox sessions (this is to disable propagation of .INI files from the Worldox Indexing server).
- Install Workshare on a client computer, complete with Worldox DMS integration. Or run the Workshare Configuration Assistant (wmconfigassistant.exe) from C:\Program Files (x86)\Workshare\Modules.
- Copy the following .INI files: WDUSER.INI and WDSTUSER.INI from the client computer in the following directory: C:\Program Files (x86) \Worldox to the same drive on the above Worldox Server
- Start the Worldox session on the client workstation.
- Re-test the issue.
