Scenario
- Ensure Interactive Protect is enabled.
- Open Outlook and forward an existing email with Word attachment. (DOCX, DOC).
- When the Interactive Protect panel appears, uncheck Clean files - Remove metadata, enable Convert to PDF and click Apply button.
- Notice the error message below appears in the Interactive Protect status bar. The object invoked has disconnected from its clients. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010108 (RPC_E_DISCONNECTED)).
Resolution
- Upgrade to Professional 9.5.3. Learn how to download the latest version of Workshare.
- If you're on Workshare 9 Update 7b or 9.5.2 and you're unable to upgrade, please raise a case to Workshare Support and request patch CR01129786.
