Scenario
When you right-click a file in the FileSite Matter view and choose Send to Workshare, the resulting dialog box will have the option Check-out the files from iManage selected by default.If you would like the option deselected by default, you can add a registry key.
Resolution
- Open the Registry Editor (Start > Regedit.exe). You'll need administrative privileges to make changes in certain places.
- Navigate to the Options key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Workshare\Integrations\imanage\Options
- Back up the registry key:
- Right-click the registry key.
- Click Export.
- Choose a known location to save it.
- In the right pane of the Registry Editor, right-click and select New > String Value.
- Name the new value: DefaultCheckOutDocuments
- Right-click the newly created DefaultCheckOutDocuments key and select Modify... The Edit String dialog box will be displayed.
- In the Value data: field, set the value to: False
- Click OK.
- Close the Registry Editor.
