Scenario
- With Interactive Protect enabled open Outlook and create a new email (reply to an email or forward an email).
- Drag and drop emails from any of the Outlook folders or from the local file store (C: drive).
- Notice that as soon as you have added three such attachments you cannot add any other
Resolution
Install Microsoft KB3191906 (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3191906/may-2-2017-update-for-outlook-2010-kb3191906).Microsoft released KB3191906 on the 2nd of May 2017 to fix missing, corrupted or duplicated attachments.
KB3191906 applies to Microsoft Office 2010 Service Pack 2, Microsoft Outlook 2010.
NOTE:
When KB3191906 gets installed it causes an issue with quick print of files attached to emails - Error: "This file could not be found".
