Your Workshare subscription has expired

Learn how to regain access to Workshare's features when your paid edition has been converted to a free personal account.

When a paid edition of Workshare has been converted to a free personal account, you'll receive an email with the subject, "Your Workshare subscription has expired".

You no longer have access to the Admin Console. To regain access to the Admin Console, renew your license. For information on how to renew your license, contact support@workshare.com

When you log in to the desktop app or my.workshare.com, you’ll see a Personal Edition label at the top, next to your name.

The words "Personal Edition" will appear to the right of your name.

You’ll still be able to access and share files, but you won't have access to the Admin Console.

If your license has expired, you also won't have access to:

  • The Compare application
  • The Compare for PowerPoint application
  • Metadata cleaning in Outlook or on your desktop
  • Secure file transfer in Outlook
  • The Workshare ribbon in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
