If you've selected the Clean documents of hidden data checkbox, then uploaded a file type that the web app doesn't clean, you'll see an error message like this:

The following file types are not cleaned:
- file formats other than Microsoft Office and PDF files
- .ZIP files containing a file format other than Microsoft Office and PDF files*
- password protected .DOCX files
- .ZIP files containing a password protected .DOCX file*
*If you upload a .ZIP file containing one file type that cannot be cleaned, no file in the .ZIP will be cleaned.To upload your file with the metadata in it, deselect
Clean documents of hidden data and upload your file again.
