Unable to license when using a proxy server

Proxy servers can block requests to the licensing server.

To configuring Workshare to use a proxy:

  1. Open Workshare Compare.
  2. If the document selection screen appears, click Cancel.
  3. Click the Compare icon.
  4. Click Configuration Manager.
  5. Click General on the left hand side of the Configuration Manager.
  6. Click Administration.
  7. Enter the details (proxy server port and proxy server URL) for your proxy server.
