If you're using... Workshare Professional/Protect 7-8 |
- Close any open Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Microsoft Outlook.
- Open the Workshare Configuration Manager in Administrator Mode:
- Go to Start.
- Click Programs.
- Click Workshare.
- Select Workshare Configuration (User Mode). The Workshare Configuration Manager will open.
- Select Launch Administrator Mode.
- From the Protection category, select Remove Metadata.
- Deselect the cleaning options:
- In the Internal Email, External Email, and Content Risk columns, select the first checkbox. This will select every option in each category.
- In the Internal Email, External Email, and Content Risk columns, deselect the first checkbox. This will deselect every option in each category.
- To prevent the user from changing these settings, click the lock icon beside each option.*
- Click Apply.
- Close the Workshare Configuration Manager.
*Unless you lock a preference, the user will be able to change it for their user profile via the user mode of the Workshare Configuration Manager
