Main | To change the notification settings in the desktop app:
- Open the desktop app.
- From the File menu, select Preferences...
- Select Notifications.
- If required, change the notification settings by selecting/deselecting the corresponding checkboxes. By default, users receive notifications by email and via desktop popup alerts in the following circumstances:
- When a user first accesses a folder you have shared with them.
- When a new file is added to a shared folder.
- When there is a new version of a file.
- When a comment is posted.
- When someone shares a file or folder with you.
