- Click File.
- Click Selective Sync. The Selective Sync tab is displayed where you can select which folders you want to synchronize from the web app to the desktop app.
- Select and deselect your folders as required. Where a folder includes sub folders, you can click the folder to display its subfolders to the right.
- To automatically synchronize all folders shared with you in the web app, select the Automatically sync new folders shared with me checkbox. To prevent automatic synchronization, deselect this option.
- When you have completed your selection of folders to synchronize, click Update and Sync.
The selected folders are downloaded to your 
Workshare sync folder. By default, this folder is named and located as follows:
- Windows: C:\Users\[user name]\Workshare
- Mac: /Users/[user name]/Workshare
The file/folder icon in Explorer/Finder indicates their sync status:
