The Professional installation rolls back when Outlook and Lotus Notes are installed on the same machine. The following error is displayed: “Error code 10024: Cannot load component (c:\program files(x86)\workshare\modules\Workshare.MailProvider.LotusNotes.dll) to register it.”
To workaround the issue:
- Open the Registry Editor and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Lotus
- Change the Lotus registry root name to LotusOLD.
- Install Professional and notice a successful installation.
- Rename the LotusOLD registry root back to Lotus.
