The desktop app appears offline

If the desktop app appears offline when it should be online, try these steps:
  1. Check whether you're connected to the internet. The desktop app will only be online if you are.
  2. In the app, go to File > Preferences... and sign out and sign in again. 
  3. Ensure these domains are opened in the firewall/proxy server:
    • *.workshare.com
    • *.s3.amazonaws.com
    • Protocol HTTPS, port 443
  4. Try to login to the desktop app with a different email address to see whether the issue is specific to your email address.
