Workshare can alert you by email when other users have accessed a file you have shared with them or when a comment is posted or when a new file is added to a shared folder. You can change the alert settings to specify exactly when you will receive alert emails.
To change alert settings:
- Log into the web app at https://my.workshare.com/login
- Click the arrow beside your name.
- Click My Settings.
- Select the Alerts tab.
- Select the checkboxes to receive an email notification in the following circumstances:
- Someone first accesses a folder
- A new file is added to a group
- There is a new version of a file
- A comment is made on a file or a post
- Under General Emails, select or deselect the checkbox to specify whether you want to receive Workshare newsletters and getting started messages.
- Click Apply.
