- For all other products and applications, click and click the relevant download option.
If you're a Mac user:
2.1 Install Workshare Professional (Windows)
If you’re a Windows user, you will have downloaded Workshare.Professional.Bundle.exe. Double-click it and follow the installation wizard. For full instructions, see the Workshare Professional 10 Installation Guide.
2.2 Install Workshare (Mac)
If you’re a Mac user, you will have downloaded Workshare.dmg. Double-click it. A new Finder window will appear. In the Finder window, drag Workshare into Applications. In Applications, double-click Workshare and follow the installation wizard.
Note: Only the online and syncing functionality of Workshare Professional is available to Mac users. If you want to use the full Workshare Professional for Windows functionality (includes the comparison application and email integration), you can use a third-party vendor application like Parallels Desktop or VMware Fusion to emulate Windows and then follow the steps in 2.1: Install Workshare Professional (Windows) to install and run Workshare Professional in the emulator.
3. License
Workshare no longer uses authentication codes or .LIC files for licensing. Now licensing is as simple as signing in.
After installing your product, you’ll be prompted to sign in to Workshare. Use the email and password for your Workshare Connect account. This will license your product on your computer. If you don't have a Workshare Connect account, enter your email address into the sign in page and you'll be asked to choose a password.
If you haven't been prompted to sign in, manually trigger the prompt by double-clicking the comparison application icon on your desktop. If you don't have a Workshare Connect account, click Create account in the dialog and follow the steps.
If you're licensing Professional 8 or an earlier version, you can find the instructions here.
If you're deploying Workshare, you can choose between using the sign in method for licensing that's described above or our Enterprise licensing method. To find out more, see the help article called Licensing Workshare 9 and above for deployment. Full instructions on downloading, licensing and deploying can be found in the Workshare Professional 10 Installation Guide
